There is a home for you in Long Beach City College 's Department of Theatre, Dance & Film. Consider your choices: acting, directing, dancing, choreography, film making, stage and screen writing, costuming, set design and creation, prop building, lighting and stage management. The Department offers A.A. degrees in Theatre (with either an acting, technical or general emphasis), Dance and Film. The department's performance program is critically acclaimed producing at least seven mainstage productions a year including two dance concerts. Students gain valuable performance experience in the daytime repertory performances (up to eight a semester) produced by the Rehearsal and Performance class under the direction of the acting faculty.
